Plainfield Central Invitational Cancelled - Will Not Be Made Up

We traveled to Plainfield Central today to take part in their invitational. The Frosh-Soph Girls race started on time at 9:00 am with rain steadily falling. At about eleven minutes into the race, lightning was noticed in the area and the race was halted at that point. 

All athletes, coaches and families sought shelter. The coaches had a meeting, and ultimately the decision was made to forego the remainder of the meet and to cancel due to the weather forecast, which resulted in the Frosh-Soph Boys, Varsity Girls, Varsity Boys and Open races not being contested.

The meet will not be made up. We will next be in competition at home on Tuesday against ACC, IC and Nazareth.
